Er english versionHe was black. Totally black. He had always been. And not only he. His neighbours were also black. Pitch-black. And the worse was: they denied it! “Oh no,” the first said, “I’m not totally black. Didn’t you see my stomach is white?” “What makes you think so?” said another. “You can see clearly my white hair!” When he heard that, he shook his head. How could they be that silly! Not totally black? Whatever gave them that idea? They were black, and they had always been. As long as he lived (and believe me: he was old) he had had black neighbours.
